This surgery is carried out to correct wrinkly, sagging, limp skin and soft portions of the temples, face and neck. It can be used on the entire face and neck (complete face lift), however, it can also be done separately on the upper  face, temples, neck or as a separate procedure on the forehead. This procedure can be carried out with local or general anesthesia, the choice depends on the patient's wishes, tolerance and the extent of the surgery.
Incisions are made along the hair line at the temples and head. The only incision visible is at the ear, however, this usually heals as an extremely thin, white scar and is not distracting.
