Surgery is most often performed following childbirth, breastfeeding, or major weight loss due to sagging, changes in breast shape and feel, and loss of breast volume. Plastic surgery can restore a youthful breast shape. After correction of sagging breasts, incisions are always left inconspicuous and discreet. /There are several well-established forms of breast lift. The most suitable method is chosen during the preoperative consultation. Implants can be inserted using any of the breast lift techniques.

Advantages: youthful, rounded décolleté, firm breasts even without a bra. Attractive, beautiful cleavage in a cut-out dress or swimsuit. More self-confidence.
Anaesthesia: anaesthesia
Surgery time: 3 - 3,5 hours
Length of stay: one night in hospital
Suture removal: 2-3 weeks
Special bra: 3-6 weeks
Cessation of sports and physical exertion: 6 weeks

Breast lift with implants:

The extent of the breast lift will always vary depending on the patient's capabilities, which will determine the technique I choose for the procedure.
During the consultation, the needs assessment is followed by a planning session where I draw the surgical area, determine the correct position of the nipple and the amount of skin to be excised, and determine the size of the implant depending on personal needs and anatomical possibilities. Breast implants can be placed under the pectoral muscle. The most common method I use is the so-called partial submuscular technique. This involves placing the upper ½-2/3 of the implant under the muscle and the lower ½-1/3 under the gland. In my opinion, this is the most natural and durable method to achieve the best results. The surgery does not damage the glandular tissue and hardly affects it. Breastfeeding is even possible after the breast prosthesis has been inserted. During the procedure, the breasts are repositioned and reshaped.
During consultations, the question of where and how much scarring will remain after the procedure is always raised.
This is determined by how sagging the patient's breasts are, because I base the technique on the extent of this sagging. The graph below shows the scar lines.
The less scarring, the less sagging of the breast.

Who is breast augmentation with breast lift implants recommended for?

This procedure is recommended for patients who for some reason have sagging breasts that are not aesthetically pleasing, unhealthy or uncomfortable for them, or are not the right size for them, and would like to have fuller, larger breasts.
Breast lifts and implants are used to shape and enlarge your own breasts, the former by excising excess skin and the latter by using implants. If you don't think you need implants, a breast lift will be enough. If you are looking for smaller breasts, a breast reduction may be suitable (internal link)

The procedure for breast lift and implant insertion:

On the day of the surgery, the patient must arrive at the clinic as arranged with the assistant, where he/she will occupy his/her room, fill out and sign the necessary paperwork, After talking to the anaesthetist and scrubbing the surgical area, the patient will take a shower, change his/her clothes and after a short consultation, a thorough planning will follow, when I will plan and draw the surgical area. The patient is then given a sedative, an IV is administered to the patient's arm and the patient is escorted to the operating theatre. The anaesthetic used during the breast lift is general anaesthesia. The operation takes about 3-3.5 hours, at the end of the operation drain tubes are inserted and in most cases removed on discharge the following day. The patient wakes up in their room with the compression bra on, and is given antibiotics and painkillers as needed. The duration of the clinical stay is 1 night of in-patient care, during which time she is with qualified nurses in 1 or 2 bedded rooms.

After the operation

After the operation, regular check-ups are required, the first one being within a week.
The next control is in the second week when the sutures are loosened, the 3rd control is 3 weeks after the operation when the sutures are removed. After the operation, it is recommended to wear a special bra for the first three weeks, which is put on the patient at the end of the operation, and can be replaced by a sports bra for the following three weeks. A break from sport and physical exertion is recommended for 6 weeks.
Return to work is always determined by the type of work, which is discussed during the consultation. A follow-up examination is required at 3. 6. 12. months after surgery. Thereafter, it is recommended to have a breast examination once a year and a breast UH or Mammography every two years.
The final shape of the breasts develops in the 3-6 months after the operation, it is a completely natural process that the breasts are firm and swollen after the operation. As time goes by, the swelling goes down and the breasts return to their natural position, resulting in a more natural shaped result.

Important to note: The shape of the breasts is permanent, but if you gain weight and lose weight or breastfeed again, you may find that they sag again, which may require further surgery. It is therefore recommended to have the operation after the birth of the planned child. It is of course possible to get pregnant again. In some cases, breast-feeding may be affected by a more extensive operation

More about scars:
I use the highest quality suture materials and the most precise suture technique for the aesthetic appearance of the scars and I also place great emphasis on scar management. In the majority of cases this results in a scar with a thread-thinness similar to the skin tone. Other scarring may occur, depending on the genetic make-up and predisposition of the patient, these are the rarer scar types, which differ significantly in colour and texture from the ideal scar. For example: darker or lighter than the surrounding area, the most common types of abnormal scarring are: atrophic scar (scarring that is covered with a plug) hypertrophic scar (red scar that protrudes from the skin) keloid scar (scar that is similar to hypertrophic scarring) keloid scar (scar that is similar to hypertrophic scarring) which may be associated with itching, tenderness, and sensitivity, independent of the above mentioned methods, and which can greatly affect the final aesthetic result.
