Lip augmentation

Lips can also be made fuller by injection treatment. Both absorbing and non-absorbing substances can be used for lip augmentation.

Results by absorbing substances last for about 3-6 months, while non-absorbing ones ensure the fullness of the lips for 3-5 years. After the material is injected, the lips get swollen and oedematous, which can frighten the patient. This swelling passes in approx. 3-5 days and the final result becomes visible. If necessary, corrections or repeated augmentation can be performed in a couple of weeks.
